Stone Throwing from Bridge Over M6 Toll Near Chasewater

We have received a number of reports concerning youths throwing stones and other objects from the bridge that crosses from Pavior Road, Burntwood, to Chasewater, over the M6 Toll.

This reckless behaviour poses a significant risk to road users and could easily result in a serious collision, injury, or worse. Several vehicles have already been damaged as a result of objects being thrown from the bridge.

I would like to urge parents and guardians to be aware of where their children are spending their time, particularly during the school holidays and evenings, and to speak with them about the potentially devastating consequences of this type of behaviour.
